   Did you see the more recently released "Ex Machina" Pronounced X Mek-ah-na (which is a writer prop for finding an easy way out of a difficult story line.. like suddenly a super hero busts through the wall)
   
   the movie has a few so it's not a great mystery, but the story is still good and so is the lot device of the women and typical AI "What-ifs"

   BTW A Producer is someone who has to hire the Director, Director of Photography, Deal with the unions, deal with non-exclusive rights to show his production at any theater company and how to post-sale the product in DVD and RedBox rental .. etc.
   
   
   So Even though these guys are dirtbags.. they're job (minus the dirtbag manipulation of humans) is hard. Producers work hard to make the magic happen.

   he just sign checks and let the real producer use his money to do their jobs. with enough money, you can make your name appear as writer / director aswell.
