My old Collie is 11 years old and in the past 3 months he's failed to stand up on his own about 5 times. Its sad his hip is going he gets absolutely terrified and cries and there isn't anything I can do about cos he's just old. The hardwood floors make it hard for him but so is the hot as fuck summer outside so its a bit of a pickle. When the winter rolls around I'm afraid thats gonna be harder on his joints and he's gonna be in a lot of pain.
Do dogs usually just lose the will to live at this point? He's perfectly healthy in every other regard and I'd feel absolutely terrible to put him down when his hip goes even though its probably the humane thing to do. Maybe a dog wheelchair but thats probably super expensive. He can still run a fair bit chasing the school bus every morning and playing with the Labdog. Had him since he was a pup its going to be horrible when he goes.

I just said fuck it and went to sleep.

I am gonna die soon. my family tends to die in their mid 50's from heart attacks. I figure I got about 15 years left at best.
I might go to the doctors sometime, if I get around to it. -

If you really had a heart attack, you need medicine faggot. Anti-coagulants, maybe you need cholesterol medication as well, if you don't wanna' go to the doctor go buy a bottle of aspirin and make it aspirin not acetominophen. Aspirin is an anti-coagulant, take one or two a day for the rest of your life and maybe you'll live a little longer than 15 years.
Also, make nitro-glycerin. It's easy as fuck. Next time you get chest pains and shit you take a drop of nitroglycerine and you put that under your tongue to fix it. Then you call the doctor to have an ECG, etc.
Also guess what. Your heart is not the only organ that can have an infarction. What if the next one is in your brain and you survive but you lose the ability to speak, or walk or hold your piss. Go to the fucking doctor. -

2015-09-01 at 1:39 AM UTCMy father had a heart attack at 40 as well and his mom died of heart disease when she was 50. Heart disease runs in my family as well, just today though i went to the hospital to give blood so that it can be examined for signs of too high cholesterol and stuff like that.
I smoke and take drugs but i'll be damned if i die when i'm 40.

I didn't choose to have a kid with anybody. I was just stupid about things. If I had a choice, no, I definitely wouldn't have chosen hydro. I wanna have kids with somebody I would want to spend the rest of my life with. I couldn't do that with hydro.

Your situation is so weird. I don't kno u in real life but just reading your posts over the years you seem like you'd make an horrible father and I hope Hydro's hubby/bf will be doing the fathering even tho he's not obliged to but just for the sake of the kid.
