Have you ever met somebody like this? It's like they've got no personality. Every joke or reference is in reference to something they saw on a screen. Every conversation is guided by it. You wanna tell me a story about your life? That reminds me of when Saitama fought the giant she-beast devil of Gorgonzola-8. Oh hey, have you seen the new AVENGERS movie? Have you heard the new TAME IMPALA ALBUM? Have you seen the new ASSASSINS CREED?
I'm not saying these things are bad, I'm just saying that there are a lot of people out there who fill their life with these things and nothing else. It's sad as fuck. Their world is so small.

Determinism again. We all waste our lives in whatever ways we're circuited to. We don't truly have a choice.

Sports?
Work Stuff hoping the other person understands?
World Events?
I go into a public place, club or restaurant or gym.. people talk about what was on TV or a song or sports or work shit.
is there some magical topic to talk about?
The hatred of knowledge and wisdom

GP can't handle that everything he's saying has been determined for him to say. Mind you, not PRE-DETERMINED, just determined.

I don't necessarily think it's wrong, I just think its a nil concept. The entire debate is an illusion made up by the human mind. IMO neither are necessary.
that was a funny joke though, lol

I feel personally attacked by this, even though I don't really do it.

I typically gravitate towards business, personal finance, philosophy, or space. The rest I will fill in with current events.
I do like movies, but I don’t typically talk about them much. If it’s a TV show, it would have to be on Netflix or Hulu or something since I cut cable a while back. I don’t really play games - at least not current games. I’m way out of touch on music since I listen to podcasts most of the time.
Some guys at work only talk about sports or hunting, so it’s hard for me to relate to them. If we talk about business-related topics, then we’re good.
