I really loved The Stranger, I read it in high school and have nice gone through two copies from just giving them to people to read.

Yeah, admittedly I have a huge broner for Camus. I preferred his other famous work, The Myth of Sisyphus, by strength of being generally more direct, more intellectual (the christian judge thing tends to be a red herring to a lot of people who are reading The Stranger as an introduction to existentialism). That said I don't dislike it, I think it was a work that had its intended effect in its time and for a while after but I think there's a tendency to take it out of context today.

I listen to podcasts mostly because I have no running internet anymore. The only thing to read on smartphones is comics or how to cook meth and LSD in space which I already read a billion times
