It's information bro, you wouldn't get it
  5. I have a great UDP joke but you might not get it

I already gave you one example of information. Here is another:

I think you can find definitions in the dictionary.

Anticipating the motion of planets was a lot more complex under the geocentric model. At at very least we can rule out any general principle that more accurate models need be as or more complex than the ones they replace.

and yet you think you need to express yourself and convey your thoughts is such a complex manner with such an elaborate grammar for something so simple.

Ok Obbe, I thought you were about to make an interesting point about the idea of reality being a simulation, but I now see that you're shitposting to avoid arguing with me for fear of being wrong.

But it is interesting. That art is information, or at least a way of expressing information. I could have just posted some math or some code too, but no matter what I post you would still call it wrong. It's information bud.

It's a way of expressing information, sure. But you aren't fleshing out your idea of what "simulation" is a metaphor for, what "a sea of information" specifically refers to. You're trying your hardest to not actually make a concrete statement about your stupid ass views because you're afraid I'm going to ream you. But I'm actually interested, if you can put a coherent point together, which you're not doing.

But I'm not at all interested in what your stupid ass opinions of my views are. A sea of information is like the pictures I posted, or like a bunch of one's and zeros - however you want to visualize it will never be accurate though.

You don't need to be interested in my opinions; I dismantle you with pure logic.

I asked you to elaborate on the concept here. Instead you're further cementing it as some meaningless bullshit.

… To some theorists, the duality isn’t just mathematical. The universe as we experience it, they say, may actually be the projection of information encoded on some distant cosmic boundary. Where this boundary lies and how the projection occurs are still open questions, but these theorists argue that our reality may be, in essence, a hologram analogous to the silvery images on museum store postcards.

… Quantum information is useful stuff—but what is it telling us about the essential nature of our reality? Some thinkers argue that it suggests our entire universe is itself a quantum computer.

semantics are the building blocks all philosophical discussions.

without proper semantics all things go to shits.

    Absolutely.
