   Disney was given 56 years of ownership of Micky Mouse in 1926 from the 1909 Copyright/Patten laws of 56 years. (extended server times since the 1700s)
   
   Disney did this twice over the years. Once in 1983 and then extended it to 96 years (95?) in 1997. Seems Disney paid out a mear 149+ K as lobbist to members of congress to extend this mother fucker out for an additional 40 years.
   
   everytime Micky Mouse is about to go public domain, Disney pads pockets and disney keeps its multi billion dollar figure active. Disney has been caught hiring non US residence and fined small amounts.

   its called a corpocracy. the same reason why everything that should be a public sector responsibility...such as trash pickup and prisons...is a private for-profit income source where 'elected' officials get a cut.
   
   mickey in that pic didnt think too clearly about locking himself down. those chains would take me less than a minute to cut through with some of my tools.
