Personal mods for each member, with 2 faggots being modded by one higher mod, and one higher mod modding every three of the one lesser mods, in pyramid fashion, leading to the top point which is the mod who controls the tornado of moddetry beneath him, and then of course, as I've said before, in an ideal world, a grand flag staff supporting a monumentally large flag wearing Lanny's face, representing the Supreme Lord Moderator and Commander status.
So, in my unflawed belief, if our forum here was generously said to have 50 active users, our moderation pyramid would consist of
18 base members
18 level-1 mods
9 level-2 mods
3 level-3 mods
1 Ultra Supreme Mod
So ultimately you have 31 mods for 18 people, and all the mods are keeping one another in check in a structured and organized environment. NOTHING gets by. -

I don't have a problem with you having your own site or running it any way you want. If it's somewhere I want to be I'll even register an account myself. Me and several other posters have voiced the reasoning behind needing moderation, as well as other features, bugs, and issues we're having with the site and all anyone ever gets from you is "I'm not changing it" and banned if they raise too much of an issue with your shit-tier administration. I have not plugged my site one single time here. Not once. I use my own private image host to share pictures, and sent one PRIVATE message to a member who chose to then share it with the rest of the community. Don't use my competent administration as an excuse for your inability to set aside your own ego for the betterment of the community.
Admit it, you don't know HOW to add moderators.
You don't know HOW to add polls.
You don't know HOW to add flood control. -

You're just going down a bad road. Sure, you've got some valid points, but you also have many incorrect points, and people have caught on. Why not just listen and acknowledge them and move on? If you did that, you would avoid the site drama, as you previously stated you care so much about.

Maybe it's because I've already addressed each of those items at some length before, or maybe because HDL is bringing them up in the most antagonistic way I can think of, or it could be because I don't really care about his or your opinion on the matter. Take your pick I guess? Is there anything specific you'd like to discuss other than telling me I don't know how to do X and then getting mad at me for not doing X? -

I think they're all antagonistic, because they're frustrated. They feel you that since you didn't lay out any real ground rules or mission statement in the first place, they didn't have to follow any, and then you pivoted. And then there's the arbitrary enforcement thing. It's really you who has to decide whether this is going to be a playground, or a discussion platform. Until you do that, and make it clear, of course they are going to be frustrated and angry when you turn around and start applying shit. You need to TALK with people. Not talk TO them. You keep saying, "I don't give a shit", "I don't give a shit", "I don't give a shit", again and again, but yet YOU are the one who put up this BBS. So, yes, you apparently DO give a shit. You know they are only doing all this to spite you; you already know this. What should your next step be? An Armistice. And some actual two-way conversation. I sold zok on the Armistice plan when he ran himself into the exact same problems. Even got poast unbanned under the approved proposal, when zok had previously insisted he would NEVER be unbanned. I was the architect of the Great Zoklet Armistice. And you know what? It worked. Perfectly. And then our old friend zok had to FUCK IT ALL UP AGAIN, by appointing shit mods and creating another US vs Them environment. So, there you go. You have your solution. There are two rules. There's some ambiguity in them but no ruleset for posting on an internet forum is ever going to be without ambiguity. I think they're as clear as they're going to get. I give a shit about having a BBS to post on with people I've known for almost a decade now, sure. If you'd like me to be more specific then what I meant was I don't give a shit about how you think that BBS should be run.
