Like they'd finish a soda, see the garbage and recycling cans side by side, notice that to throw their soda can in either would cost them an equal amount of effort, and they would throw it in the garbage can because "fuck recycling, that shit's for pussies."
I noticed it always seemed to be the ones who were die hard nationalists and considered themselves Christians, and therefore usually had families, and I always pointed out the irony that it was going to be their kids, not mine, who suffered because of it, and that the bible says you should take care of the Earth, but fuck, they don't like logic.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

the municipal trash-pickup scam was instigated by the garbage companies to increase their markets and profits. there have been several studies done showing that municipal recycling programs are about 10 times more deleterious to the environment than simply tossing all the trash into a landfill.
all those 'green' cars that run on batteries that are supposedly good for the environment are also more polluting. the worst thing that IC engines pollute directly don't compare to the heavy metals used in the electric motors and battery packs.
if someone touts a 'green' policy or program it's guaranteed to involve the tout-er making money off it in some way at the expense of the slow-witted tout-ee. -

bullshit. the only jobs created go to illegal foreign immigrant. additionally, several large trash collection companies are trying to solicit their municipalities for larger fees due to the lack of a market for their recycled shit.
you don't known much about mass deforestation then. the majority of it going on is for lumber to send to construction projects in china, with a significant amount being for high-end rare lumber for various luxury items. -
