2017-07-04 at 12:30 PM UTCYou know, The Dutch had a great war for independence too. 80 Years it lasted, against the Spanish. It's true. Spanish, total scumbags. We beat them though. Because Northern Europe > Southern Europe.

2017-07-04 at 3 PM UTCAs an American, I have no idea what the significance behind the 4th of July is. It's not when we declared freedom, and it's not when the declaration was signed.

It's the day when congress officially declared independence, but you're right that the document that we all think of as THE declaration wasn't signed on July 4th. -

2017-07-04 at 5:38 PM UTCThanks, Euro-fag.
I loved going to shoot off mortars with my clydesdale, being he was only horse who was chill as fuck about things exploding, and making loud noises like feet away from him. I could even shoot a rifle off his back, so that was fun too... Kinda shit I used to do before my soul died on fourth of july. -

it was when the draft of the declaration that we know today was approved. it was also the date that copies of it began to be circulated by the press. -
