i find it fascinating and would love to get into it more. i really should try and pick up some old binoculars or a small telescope to start looking at stars and shit. i do find it quite confusing how to find certain stars tho, as they all seem to look the fucking same. just bunches of stars everywhere, lol.
I am, I've recently been studying videos about the brown dwarf
check out leak project, he has a lot of different kind of stuff but he also touches on astronomy. The guy lives in the next town over and is trying to get more guest from in central texas, and I'm actually trying to brush up to skype with the dude.
Ehh honestly not really but I think it would be cool to be in space and be able to look at the earth in it's entirety that would be one epic bad ass moment. If heaven is a tangible place(in the sky supposedly) I'd like to break in and steal of a bunch angelic shit even furthering my influence and power on earth. Not trolling srs here.

George bushes cousin darin bush, showed me actual moon rocks and pieces of the titanic. I don't know if you remember but two Septembers ago the moon turned red and its called "the schmeita" the jedi harvest moon and it was a weird thing to see.
^ I remember seeing something about that on youtube but that occured during my drinking days..how did that guy acquire pieces of the moon? Not doubting your story but it's not like you can go into any random pawn shop and be like "I'm looking for a piece of the moon, nigga".

i'd love to look at a real life super nova or look at a whole distant galaxy. guessing you'd need a pretty powerful telescope, but it would be epic shit to look at tho.

there are some phone apps that you can hold up to the night sky which will help you identify the patterns which make up certain constellations and then you can sorta figure out where other notable stars are it's really cool to see the local planets like way early in the morning most of them are visible without a telescope and when youre familiar with your night sky they will totally stand out to you when they happen to appear

They generally work like shit. I use an S7 Edge which has a pretty good camera (probably the best of last year) and for the most part, unless the conditions are absolutely perfect, you aren't gonna get good results.

well, a printed map might help more we used those in this astronomy class i took
jupiter or saturn, orion nebula, andromeda blood moon (next one in august), super moon or when it's rising unless youre talking about taking care of it then i have no idea because i've never owned one some universities have observatory tours
