nothing subpar about it, its pretty fucking cool once you get to grips with it. you should try it, its that easy even you could use it. and I don't even need anti-malware. imagine that? I don't even need to have it installed on my computer. so yeh, its great not having malware and ransom-ware for the full 365 days of the year.

I have it installed on my HTPC at present and I know how to use it just fine. It's not bad, it's just whatever, and compared to Windows, for 99% of people, there is absolutely zero reason to use Linux. And the only reason you would need anti malware on Windows is if you are a fucktard and download the shadiest shit and let it get past UAC, that's why I know HampTheJoker's cousin a little fuckhead, and the only reason why dumb people fuck up on Windows and not on Linux is because... You don't have the opportunity to do so on Linux, there's no software for your average shithead to pirate and you're not worth the effort from malware writers to target.
If you are a programmer/coder and want to work, GNU/Linux is great. If you are an average fuckhead like mememe, the only reason to use Linux is if you're stupid/poor. -

2017-06-28 at 5:01 PM UTCCan these get into firmware yet? That'd be a bit scary if you'd have to reflash your firmware to get rid of it. I thought I had read that they can.
Edit: I couldn't find anything searching for "red skull over icon windows", not even images. The closest I got was something called 'Skuller/Vandal Trojan' that target the Symbian mobile OS back in 2004.

Could be new/minor ransomware that hasn't made the news. There are thousands going around at any given time. I suppose the correct move would be to simply wait and see if a message presents itself to hemp's cousin, asking for payment or whatever. Would also be ideal if he could just send the malware infected drive to someone like F-Secure. -
