I know, I wasn't serious. Why the hell do people take an interest in my life? There's nothing there, I live inside my mind, in my own @utistic bubble.

Rehabilitate himself out of necessity and become a productive member of society. Obvious all of malice's problems stem from him being a victim of state handouts.

I think malice could develop his own swag. I'm so confused as to how he's getting enough benefits to live alone in the bay.

Don't you remember Welcome to the NHK? Hikikomori is a luxury of modern society.

Even Mexican immigrants who don't speak the language, are unskilled and have no verifiable work history, can manage to get decent paying menial jobs.

The welfare trap and dependance, the negative effects they have on people, are real! I've proven it myself. If I had been forced to work and be around people, which I was fully capable of doing, things would never have gotten this bad. I scammed my way to SSI because I am a selfish evil person and simply didn't want to work, it felt beneath me.

Besides, you once said that you had often wondered what my problem was and that you felt you would be perfectly happy just stimming (stimulating yourself) for the rest of your life. Is it so hard to believe that, at least when this began, I genuinely simply wanted to be alone, for my own reasons, to have far more time to pursue my interests (I used to read a fuckton in the past and regularly make far longer autistic posts about all the information I had read, my theories on life), experience the finest works man had made?

Unfortunately I didn't have the knowledge I do know and wasn't aware, couldn't have predicted, what it would lead to. The lifestyle is simply untenable, it doesn't work, and there was no way to salvage it (This is exactly what I was trying for a long time, why I read so much about neuroscience, pharmacology, and a vast array of substances and regimens I was trying.).

It's simple, I'm good at managing the meager amount of money I receive. I have a very minimalist and ascetic lifestyle. The trivial and fleeting things normal people pursue in attempt to acquire pleasure and happiness, which never last, are of no importance to me. I never fell into that trap. It takes years of constant self discipline and developing your worldview to reach the level where you can maintain this without problem. I've genuinely quelled many of the natural desires of man. Even food is no longer of any importance to me, and I don't feel temptation toward it.

I am an anarcho-capitalist. It's simply an ideological game, though, I don't expect it to be achieved or to make any significant difference in working towards it. Ideally the singularity will come within our lifetimes and none of this will matter.

And you are aware that you're a chequenigger, right? Just making sure.

Anarcho-capitalism is a societal/economic system. It doesn't require adherence to any form of morality or ethics. There are multiple other reasons as to why it could be your preferred system.

Yes, I am well aware. That's essentially a non-response to my post.

It said so in a popular anime! Surely this is a knockdown argument for my proposed economic system!

So what you're saying is you were incapable, despite having access to the closest-to-perfect information our age allows, of making the correct self-interested decision when choosing whether or not you should scam SSI? HMMMMM, DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A POSITION ESPOUSED MY ANYONE YOU KNOW? Is it possible the failure of people to act in their own best interest supports some other economic model than anarcho-capitalism? I mean I don't know, just, you know, floating the idea that this might be a paradigmatic case of some failing of your prefered economic model.

    Cute try. Really.

The problem is that while people may be selfless at times and choose to do what is perceived as best for the group, such a forced model is not sustainable on a large scale. The instances when people are kind to one another are unfortunately exceptions, not the rule. This is also why I actually agree with you that anarcho-capitalism would not work.

That doesn't mean I'm arguing that it caused a net loss in utility, simply that median wealth and the welfare state enable it. The ability of families and the state to support some people, the ease some attain it, are a major part of wallow the hikikomori phenomenon to exist.

What the fuck are you talking about? How would your system be any better? If you're talking about the rational actor concept in economics you're making a laughably amateur and embarrassing mistake, one that's extremely common among Marxists and pseudo-intellectual leftists of other forms. It doesn't mean or assume that people, individuals, have perfect information and always attain the correct choice based on their economic actions, all it means is that they're rationally attempting to attain a net gain in utility. This has always been the standard definition. The flaws in the first, incorrect, definition are so laughably apparent, do you honestly believe they're been missed this entire time, that even the nobel prize winning economists haven't thought of the implications and addressed it?

I know my decision to have remained on SSI at this point is irrational, although remaining on it and transitioning with school would be superior. I could still work and go to school, but would prefer not to, gaining the personal development I need sufficiently from college classes and the environment. Besides, I was suicidal and severely depressed in the past, I wasn't planning to live very long and expected/was planning to eventually commit suicide due to my hatred of life and the futility of it. Major part of the reason why I hadn't made this decision yet. I am also insane/severely mentally ill.
