2017-05-13 at 10:05 AM UTCYes, I know I'm about ten years too old for Pokémon but I've recently started playing it again
The rom hacks are a lot of fun and are generally less childish than the vanilla games. Been playing Pokémon Fuligin recently, as I've never fully beaten it
For those that don't know, Pokémon Fuligin is a rom hack based on Firered, but you play on the side of Team Rocket. It also has all 386 pokemon from Gen 1 to 3 available without trading or bullshit events
Thanks to an idea from reject, I'm thinking about actually trying to make a TOTSE/NIS themed Pokémon ROM hack. I doubt it will ever come to anything due to lack of free time but if I really get into it, it may start to come together, and if it ever actually got done it would be hilarious

Instead of pokemon the entire game takes place in space and you begin in the Trianglism Holdt Mabler institute of fringe alt sciences where there is groundbreaking research done on "puke pets" which are alien monster things you can catch and train and people battle them. You can level them up with bundy and give them drugs and weapons and genetic enhancements.
You go across the galaxy identifying and documenting puke pets for hodlt mabler and you meet trainers and groups.
i dont think it would be that hard to do. -

anything past GBA will be more of a pain in the ass than its worth, and it won't run very good on phones. Most of the script editors and such were made for GBA as well
And all but a handful of pokemon after gen 3 were complete shit
I'm leaning toward firered, it had better music and graphics and such -

Yes and my phone is shitty android so it uses 6/8gbs just to store chrome, twitter, facebook and my mobile provider are bunch of fucking cucks so my data is capped out, I can't download apps and if I could I have no memory to store them anyways.

I don't know about the story yet but we can make up a new name for the region, I'll probably redo all of the maps
I don't know about the starters. Should we make them like the regular games, a stronger than average pokemon of each type or some kind of troll starters?
