   I believe that most people will call it bullshit and therefor never reach it. They don't have the mental ability to tell themselves that they are god and go through the cruel mental and physical training. Once you are able to do that, well... I dunno. Maybe you really become a god.

   That's not how placebo works. The placebo effect can reduce or eliminate certain symptoms of a given affliction. It can create a limited set of physiological responses based on the subject's expectation (like increasing heart rate etc). It can also make people feel like they have gotten better when objectively, literally nothing has improved about their condition.
   
   It can't fucking cure cancer (or pretty much anything else for that matter) lol. The ailment will still be there.
