I have a one year old 16gb ram 4.0 ghz laptop and it doesnt seem any quicker hardly than my high school lappy that was way less powerful

can chronic overheating make it slow?

We have an olde Englishe (with old worldly e's) saying back in Jamaica that excellently describes the usefulness of laptops, it goes something like this...

    "Wot a bag o shit"

I can do everything on my laptops and I really don't need a desktop PC anymore. Has anyone else consider doing this, or even done this?

My last desktop PC was 2011. I have been using laptops for everything since then.
