Does anyone know about becoming a legal cannabis care taker? My friend has a green card in MA but has no registered care taker assigned to him. I have tried to find the statutes and regulations governing it, but there's very little information. I'd like to legally cultivate solely for him as a hobby/second job.

the nature of being human makes us remember negative feelings stronger so as not to repeat them.

This isn’t always true, there’s variation. The strongest example of the inverse is with children, which makes perfect sense from an evolutionary viewpoint.

    http://theviewfromhell.blogspot.com/2011/03/study-source-of-parental-joy-is-self.html

Benatar makes a related argument to support his thesis in his book on anti-natalism, Better Never to Have Been, citing that cognitive biases lead us to greatly underestimate the suffering in life. The same is likely true for romantic relationships, at least post honeymoon period, and undoubtedly if you have children.

    Ah, here it is: https://www.rt.com/news/312297-first-baby-happiness-study/

Particularly striking is the drop in marital satisfaction/happiness compared to divorce and even death of a spouse, and this was two years post-birth, unfortunately they didn’t collect data longer, although they did collect data on levels of happiness for a significant period pre-parenthood. It’s an absolute fool’s errand.

    https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/complete-without-kids/201103/fact-or-fiction-childfree-couples-are-happier-couples-kids

There is only one inborn erroneous notion … that we exist in order to be happy … So long as we persist in this inborn error … the world seems to us full of contradictions. For at every step, in great things and small, we are bound to experience that the world and life are certainly not arranged for the purpose of maintaining a happy existence … hence the countenances of almost all elderly persons wear the expression of … disappointment.

    Remember the selfish gene.

Yes, it's essentially akin to voluntarily contracting a mental illness in exchange for pleasure, and for the vast majority of people the honeymoon period doesn't last very long and this pleasure greatly declines.

No thank you, I prefer logic and reasoning and have the eternal in mind rather than fleeting whimsies. My distaste runs much deeper, but I've done enough ranting for today.

What do you know, one of the most seemingly mundane places would contain the best overview I've found to date. There could be superior writing, but this is satisfactory. My intuition was right. This has been a recurrent theme throughout my life, I have never come across a book that I have found novel ideas in (something new under the sun), that significantly altered my worldview. It's as if before having read the book I'm interested in the behavior of data aggregation and analyzation (linking, creating connections), along with an anomalous brain (that doesn't seem predisposed to happiness, along with an immense amount of other problems; nothing to envy; this is type of hell, limbo at best) and more rumination than most people commit in a lifetime having been done in isolation over a decade leads to those ideas already having been examined and critiqued,, puzzle pieces having been put into place. That advanced higher order order pattern recognition and hyper-systemizing.combined with prior knowledge, mental architecture, and deviations in memory lead ro a sort of knowing before having known.

I've written before about human behavior and pattern recognition, and once you grasp the true fundamentals and accept them without fear it all falls into place.

Unfortunately once again this teaches me absolutely nothing new or worthwhile, I have my disagreements, and am once again left unsatisfied,

    It doesn't matter.

BTW Lanny, I read this a while ago and it reminded me of you:

But why? The odds seem implausible if it were purely by chance. It has to be something among the neuro-atypical qualities that can manifest in the brains of individuals on the autism spectrum, being at the extreme end of the systemizing empathizing scale along with just the right collection of personality traits (also at extremes) combined with the final extreme of lifestyle, incredible isolation, both physical and psychological, allowing my development to occur without the corrupting influence of group dynamics (conformity, concern for social norms/taboos, following through on my own ideas without regards to the thoughts of other etc.)

Oh, I forgot a joke I was going to tell. Before coming into this realm I stated to being that cannot be named, described, or comprehended while in a limited human form that my goal was transfer the entirety of what I deemed of importance in this world into binary, true or false, black and white, so that absolute certainty and understanding could be attained. I was told that this was not possible as there were shades of grey and fuzziness. So I requested a brain based on quantum model micro-circuitry instead and was granted it. That really isn't very funny.

    Two more things:

1.)Gluten free waffles, peanut butter, and no sugar added lactose free ice cream (If you aren't intolerant/don't react negatively, which I'm assuming the vast majority of you don't. Still, the less sugars the better, they're meant for infants and have important compositional differences) are an excellent lazy meal and bulk food. Codt effective per calorie in the states as well.

2.) I thought of this weeks ago, and it's incredible that there't only one other instance on Google, it seems so obvious. "Roy Batty died for our sins."

I want a shirt with that phrase on the back and the iconic image of his death below with a white dove beginning to rise above him.

Oh, no, 3.) Lanny, have you ever tried snorting anhydrous caffeine? Wrote about this a while back and it works if you get it to the consistency of a very fine powder. A morter and pestle are very good for this, along with something to scrape it. Added a bit of vinpocetine for vasodilation, curious about whether the unique effects could cause not only increased sinus cavity vasodilation, but cerebral as well. And a small amount of PRL-8-53 just as an extra.

There's something distinct about this. It's a much purer eugeroic and the shorter duration is nice since you can take it later at night without it interfering with sleep. Poor man's coke.
  11. So what's the deal with Trump. Is he just a joke candidate or do some Americans genuinely believe in what he says and that he should be president? I know you have a reputation for being dumb and ignorant, but wanting to vote for him is a step too far, even for your nation.
  12. Trump is hope and leadership. American politics is suffering from groupthink, the same old tired faces trying the same old tried methods to solve old problems. The free world needs someone fresh, a self made billionaire that only moves if it profits him. The art of the deal, the apprentice "You're fired" guy IS everything America embodies. Ruthless capitalism and limitless ego is what we need in a leader. Anti war with Russia because he's the smartest one in the room. He doesn't follow the pack because its the politically correct thing to do.

You make it sound magical, but everyone has intuition. It's a shortcut we evolved to save time. Of course what you know 'intuitively' is influenced by your glossary of accumulated knowledge, doesn't mean you have to be an autist to have a good intuition.

Snorting caffeine feels much better than drinking it. I had 10 grams of anhydrous caffeine once and i was like, wut if i snort it? I was pleasantly surprised.

I have the best karma in the world. Kid I gave smokes, the letter I wrote, and a ride ended up hitting me back big time. On top of that he decided to come back with me just so we can hang out. He wants to straighten shit out here while I get my ducks in a row and take me with him when he leaves. Strictly platonic, but its certainly been an interesting turn of events. Life is weird as fuck.

I henceforth strongly rescind this suggestion, at least without significant modification or a convincing answer as to whether casein can have opioid like effects in some autistics. First time I've had to give myself a manual disimpaction: https://medlineplus.gov/ency/article/000230.htm#treatment

Normally my poop abdicates residence in my pjhysical vessel nearly immediately after I enact the process to expel it and it enirely comes out effortlessly in under 10 seconds with perfect consistency based on the Bristol stool scale: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bristol_stool_scale

At first nothing felt wrong, just a standard urge to expel waste. I propped my feet up on something I keep in the bathroom to simulate the natural squat position, which is the natural stance and far more optimal when done correctly.

It readily became apparent that this was a case of constipation. My standard technique of using the bidet seat attachment's strong force to attempt to break up the impaction/hardened stool along with allowing water to seep behind it due to the intestines great flexibility, creating greater pressure to aid its removal along with clearing out residual matter.

After multiple attempts, which I combined with my mastery of the valsalva maneuver, learned originally from reading the epitomal Starting Strength and furthered improved through practice of countless heavy high bar squats with perfect form eventually achieved, and a (lever) belt latter added, which, contrary to common myth, simply allows you to contract your abdominal muscles with abdominal complex to contract force, allowing them to become stronger than if you had not used one, along with the rest of the major muscles worked since the weakest part of the chain has been reinforced, allowing you to use heavier weights, and also increasing safety since less cervical pressure had been observed and you are less likely to compromise your form. The other components of my perfected routine helped as well, but particularly this: https://vk.com/video73899913_163393987
I can't recall if I thought of the idea before or after seeing the video, but my understanding of physiology and the purpose of the abdominal complex made me realize that this was the only ab exercise worth doing.

My abs were also beginning to disproportionately bulge out, increasing the intra abdominal pressure and stability I could create.

Blah once posted a picture of having passed out, fallen off the toilet, and having finished shitting. It's a risky business straining too far, especially for those with relevant medical conditions. Even for the healthy, burst blood vessels around the eyes can be noticeable, and there's always the danger of rectal tearing in situations like this.

As a last resort, I knew what I had to do, fortunately being aware of it. I already had a bottle of KY on the floor I hadn't bothered to pick up in some time. The next step was to use the bidet to remove any clinging fecal matter that may fall off, wipe/dry, then attach a manpon just in case. Worst case scenario would be that a large amount of now defiled water had built up behind the impaction like a damn and it would be released by a change in position. Fortunately I had higher quality vinyl gloves in my medical/emergency bag that was only 10-15ft/3-4.5m away, although it required bending down under a table. I removed my clothes beforehand and was successful in retrieving multiple.

Fortunately I am comfortable with my body and have a very low disgust response, my left hand being shielded regardless, but having to literally dig the crap out of oneself is not...something mentally sound people would like to repeat. Eventually enough was removed for a bidet flush to remove the rest, followed by a cleansing with Walmart store brand ultra-concentrated dishwashing liquid, my favorite and excellent for cleaning the most impure parts of the human body, followed by a drying, application of coconut and baby/mineral oil to maintain skin health after stripping away natural oils, then finally an application of clear gel deodorant/antiperspirant to prevent unneeded sweating.

Keep a suitable box of gloves and lubricant in your bathroom, one day you will thank me. It is far less unpleasant than straining for hours or attempting repeated medications/laxatives, which can take hours to work. Worst of all would be a trip to the ER (It happened to Casper, toward the end he was even hallucinating due to the toxic effects.)
  18. Been there, done that. Well without all the bullshit. Some spit in the middle finger and then I went to work. It wasn't ideal but it worked and I'm alive to tell the story.

Chronic opioid tolerance master race. Get a healthy addiction to powerful opioid narcotics for a while and you'll never have fecal impaction ever again. Even after you quit.
  20. Lanny Bird of Courage
Yet more reason to be glad I don't seem to be able to enjoy opiates.

On an unrelated note, I hit the character limit on a yelp review about two thirds of the way through. The jury is still out on ethyl-hexedrone but it does seem to get the the words flowing.
