Density is a matter of mass divided by space.
Gravity is a matter of mass.
Jupiter is not as dense as many of the rocky planets but it way more massive. So massive it's gravity challenges that of the sun on nearby objects.

So much fake news in this thread. Let me help.
Gravity is caused by birds. They're all flying around, pushing the air down when they flap their wings. The downward force pushes things on the surface towards the center. That's why there's no gravity in space, and there are less birds over the ocean so it doesn't get pushed down as much, so it sloshes around. The moon and other planets are held up by faith in GOD and if the atheists win, they all come crashing down.

But nah, density doesn't matter until the objects are touching. Two 1kg masses of different sizes should act the same. Whatb other questions about gravity do you have?
