Also eat root vegetables like potatoes, carrots, parsnips, etc, for the same reason. And find fast flowing streams for water to drink from. after 12 days in your shelter it would be safe to come out for a normal working day, 8 hours a day, then spend the rest of the time in the shelter. After 3 months you can increase that to 16 hours per day outside the shelter but best advised to limit it where possible. The less time you spend out of the shelter is still less time exposed to the fallout that will still be in the area after the blast.

yea, like radiations dont seep into groundwater because irradiated particles have anti-gravity property. -

I didn't say it wouldn't, but it would be more advisable to sourcing food and water from the surface that had significantly more exposure tho.
Why don't you try actually thinking about what people say rather than jumping to conclusions? you just might not come over as such a complete moron like the way you do.

He doesn't think he just posts a contrary statement to every post he replies to. It's and old boring gig. -

no, the ground would have more radiations because thats where all the irradiated waters go. -

No, they don't. Most water runs into the rivers and back out to sea. The water that does make its way down to underground springs and the like is greatly fiItered through the ground, which is why people pay premium for it in bottles, because its so pure.

Why are you trying to have an intelligent argument with him. All he does is post the opposite of what the other person says. -

fílters dont fílter out radiations. because radiations arent the same thing as dusts. -

Attention whores. That's how they get the attention they so desperately need and crave. All they do is disagree with everything, no matter what it is, then they get attention. It's like throwing treats to your dog. -

'Fallout' refers to radiated dust particles from the explosion including particles of the spent uranium and plutonium used to create the blast. Those particles will be very high in radiation levels as they are particles of atoms that were highly radiated and were split in the explosive reaction. Ground water will have fiItered out any fallout that was contained in it. Other than that yes the water could be radiated above normal levels but then its going to get diluted with all the water that's already down there which is going to have only normal levels of radiation in it. Remember that everything has a level of radiation, including you and me.
