Well it kind of does if you are not "gifting" them...

Just tell them none of their fucking business.
If they must know, you buy them on craigslist discounted. Like anything else, you're allowed to buy and resell. No law saying you must keep receipts or records of such purchases. Nothing illegal about it.

Mr,
No matter how you slice it, you’re a thief. I can’t really say who your victims are, because I don’t know how you go about acquiring these card, but I know it’s through fraudulent means.
You can tell yourself you’re better than a common criminal, but you’re not. And I thoroughly believe you’ll get busted, just a matter of when. Greed tends to play a part in that.
Just accept the fact that you’re a criminal and deal with it.

No I think he just sells bitcoin at an insane markup for twice its value in gift cards
I've thought about doing the same thing for a while but it's a lot of legwork

Also, my ego is here. I do not tell others or even hint about my activites.
Also what about crimes like Identity Theft, Burglary, and ORC, that I have participated in in the past but no longer have a desire for? Will I get busted for those?

Why would that be suspicious ?
Think of people who seem to receive gift cards as gifts most often.
Who are they?
