I heard that they are now making nukes smaller and smaller now, that in the past because nukes were so destructive that nobody wanted to use them and fuck up the world so they worked as a deterrent. But now that they can make them so much smaller people aren't going to be so hesitant to use them.

    Is this true?

I dunno. I'm still hoping for my nuclear powered cel phone and nuclear powered automobile. So there's hope.

Nuclear bombs have been able to fit in suitcases for decades.

A suitcase nuclear device (also suitcase nuke, suitcase bomb, backpack nuke, mini-nuke, and pocket nuke) is a tactical nuclear weapon that is portable enough that it could use a suitcase as its delivery method.

Both the United States and the Soviet Union developed nuclear weapons small enough to be portable in specially-designed backpacks during the 1950s and 1960s.[

I haven't a clue. I'm pretty certain that if these countries went to all the trouble of miniaturizing their nukes into suitcase size, they probably still have a few around...just in case.

    those are just scientific endeavors.

maybe during the height of cold war they're tempted to commit terrorism but i dont think they are that crazy anymore.
