I'm going buying a couple of used tires at lunchtime from the used tire place around the corner. $40 each instead of $150 each for new ones. Only fools and horses buy new tires.

Cheap ass!
Check out the difference between stopping distances of new and used tires at different speeds and conditions.

Because people like you keep breaking the seal before it's even reached the store shelf.

how stupid one is to pay that ridiculous price for, essentially, mark-up on retail.
a little story...
One of my daughters sells vehicles & knows A LOT about cars (she will change her own oil/flat tire etc-- if she can fix it she will) in the past she has driven an Audi & Porsche so peeps (usually men) get taken aback when a young pretty (supposed DUMB blond) actually knows shit or can/how to handle a vehicle.
My other daughter drives a mini cooper- took it to the dealership & they wanted to charge her $500 to replace a battery!! needless to say my blondie daughter drove over there and asked to to see the diagnostic sheet and started sassing them about all the unnecessary labor on the sheet...
yep all dudes shocked and amazed she understood the write-up eval etc.
Blondie wanted to know why they were trying to "take ADVANTAGE" of her little sister! which they were clearly going/trying to do! needless to say... $100 is what ended up being paid including dealership labor after pretty Blondie marched out of there!
$500 bucks literally to pull out a battery and put one in. something that can be done in like 15 min.🤨
Ya one's pretty stupid to pay higher prices if one can get great quality at a far cheaper price.

Tires prices are one of the biggest retail scams going. You have to be retarted to pay full price.
The ones I got yesterday have 75% of the tread for a 1/4 of the cost. Haven't bought new tires in 15yrs or more.
