Could not agree more. I spent a good while in India and holy shit it makes me rage inside when I hear people here (US) talk about how they're Irish or .08% Blackfoot. Such dumb meaningless shit. If your culture or ethnicity does not have good food and good stories, I don't wanna hear about it.
I haven't spent too much time in Europe but from what I can gather, it's all pretty homogeneous. I mean, I drive further to my Mom's house than you could ever drive trying to get anywhere in Western Europe. -
