   thats the solution allcommentators not me have on kotaku and other sites why announce shit and get dama when you can just release it anonymously than take the credit layers. too many of these guys want to be stars rather than make money.

   Yeah I agree. All those fallout hacks like Fallout Miami have legal issues because the team announces it 2 years before it's finished and has 20 people in a discord all with their names in a credit introduction video because they want the internet fame associated with working on a project like that and then they act surprised when they get sued.
   
   They even have their own developer of the month page where they blow smoke up each others asses, so stupid.

   they just want fame same shit as amiga demoscene. they dont see the big picture or have much business sense or see a carrer opportunity doen the line opportunity out of it becoming a game studio rather than some guys in a basement.

   They also feel the need to copyright anything they can so nobody steals their work.
   
   Like the Aliens SS13 server that has a closed source on github even though they don't have permission from the franchise to use any of that and they claim it's all their own work and you can be sued for stealing their code when they just stole the names and likeness of the Aliens franchise.
   
   You can't just make a Mario game and say "THE CODE IS MINE I OWN THIS COPYRIGHT" lmao
