2020-01-31 at 11:07 AM UTCas a man i do what is meant for men to do, i man the till at a convenience store while trying to inconvenience its customers as much as possible without getting blowbacks.
its only a 4 hour work per day and the pay is shit but it beats being jobless and it fills the void time between my lunch and my dinner nicely and it gives me time out of my house when its at its warmest time of the day.
sometimes i wonder if the reason i failed so badly in life is because im actively asking for it or is it something else.
Originally posted by Jiggaboo_Johnson That's not how SSI works, His contributions paid for those who were retired when he paid in, his money is gone. It's not a savings scheme…it's always borrowing from the next generation…and one of the reasons it's doomed to fail (very soon).
More old people living longer and less young people being born and working = a huge imbalance of contributions vs payouts.
If you are relying on SSI for anything other than pocket change you are an idiot. I've got multiple sources of income lined up in 2 countries…one of them in the UK matures when I'm 55.
a simple 'ponzi scheme' will suffice. -

2020-02-01 at 2:39 AM UTCFunny to see so many unemployed here.
Funny how many of those unemployed people are communists. People forget that under communism it was illegal to not work! -
