no, power over here are overpriced and it can be expensive to run air conditioning and i assume its also expensive to run heaters there. -

They use Smart Meters in Canada. That's how the connects and disconnects and meter reads are done. No service technician actually goes to the property, except maybe to request payment of outstanding dues.
