Sounds like an invasion of your personal data, and unless a court determined the charges were valid then it is just supposition based on your word against a random corporations supposition. -

2020-01-27 at 12:18 AM UTCI owe a lot of people money from my meth adventures in crackshackville. That's why I send HTS every penny I get when I get paid because they will just yoink it from my bank or freeze my account. It's quite the quandry im like 10k in debt and also owe the government a bunch of money and is has been messing with my life ever since I left B.C
I did pay a good chunk of it off from when I worked at Sears though but i'm probably just getting cucked by interest at this point.

In my experience you basically have no rights if you're in debt. I have considered filing bankruptcy, I should probably do that. -

No, it's not that hard at all. It's easy. You just call the Ontario Energy Board between Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 @ 1-877-632-2727 (416-314-2455 within Greater Toronto Area) or have a webchat with them @ https://p-micoccm01.ontarioenergyboard.ca/ccmwa/chat/6411231f-f348-4a0c-881d-3a044979ac2f or e-mail them @ ConsumerRelations@oeb.ca or file a complaint @ https://www.oeb.ca/consumer-protection/make-complaint and get the illegal disconnection investigated. That will learn them for next time they try it. Contact the utility first and request immediate reconnection. If they refuse, go to the OEB for relief.

2020-01-27 at 12:29 AM UTCSpec's is on fire in this thread.
Also you and HTS need to capitalize on this by recording yourselves freezing and miserable in your dark apartment and trying to scrounge up the funds to get the electricity re-connected. If you guys were smart you could get mad sympathy, go-fund-me's etc out of this.
I mean besides everything else, who turns someone's electricity off in January in Canadia for just $50? That's mean and scandalous. -

You're the.. man.. of the household. It's up to you to take charge and do what needs to be done, not stare down the end of a bottle. -

Jager is literally all sugar and the sugar and alcohol will cause you to bloat up like a fatass. -

I do, thats why I give her all the money I can get my hands on. My grandparents have millions of dollars and they are just farmers and butchers. I like to think the reason they had so much success is because my Grandpa just made the money and let his wife handle the rest.

What are you using to keep your phone / computer charged ? When I lost power I utilized the outlets in our apartment laundry room and just sort of hid my stuff behind the dryers. -
2020-01-27 at 12:53 AM UTCWe just borrowed a bunch of money to rent a motel and buy a pizza for dinner. I was gonna make soup and tuna sandwiches but now I can't open my fridge or turn on the stove so we just left.

2020-01-27 at 12:56 AM UTCIf you pack everything into the freezer really fast so its packed to the brim, the stuff can stay cold or food for nearly a week.

2020-01-27 at 12:58 AM UTCI think my milk will be okay for a day or two if I don't open it. My fridge gets so cold that if i leave stuff in the back of it like a green onions or liquids they will freeze.
