the temp is much more precise so it's better
when weights get too small we just use metric on the fly
which is the best way to do it and why everyone does to an extent
it's like being bilinigual, having multiple systems is more holistic even if not 100% necessary

Fahrainheit had it's purpose back in the day. Coldest temperature they were able to record was 0. Then they used the temperature of pigs blood for 100. Which makes sense to use.
