I used to for practical reasons like seeing what my dauhhtimom was saying about me for court or getting on tinder bit other than that they were just dummy accounts.
I used to have a bunch of my music on Myspace and I joined a couple bands thru that so it was pretty cool in that respect.
I use YouTube and have my own videos up there.
I'm not in to FB and don't use it and used to get the same reaction as he did , but a lot more people these days imo tend to understand that fail book is pretty antiquated.. my mom and dad use fail book and if I ever want to talk to them or they want to get ahold of me, we have each other's phone numbers.. so...
Plus a lot of people on fail book out a lot of info out their they regret later. I used a couple of sources and social media to find out a lot of stuff out about Mal lol

By the mid to late 2030s they'll start releasing bci tech and by 2050 everyone who is left alive will be in full immersion vr.

You did the right thing and I admire your determination to adhere to a free online presence. I did this several years ago but networking is so necessary now I have to make the trade off at the expense of my soul and sphincter. I wish I could be forever printless online but its to the point where ever if you only ever use a vpn on a phone (which Ive done before) theres still goin to be identifiable data somewhere. Also on the topic of vr I will say this, it's way better than text based communication. When I was living in a car I would park outside white castle, drink a ton of beer and then go into AltspaceVR with my Oculus Go and chat with people next to a campfire, it was really fun though most of the people were normies. I once went to a virtual synagogue and in a stereotypical joo accent I was like "SHALOM SHALOM"lol
