This vehicle was owned by William E. Carter of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, United States, a first class passenger. He and his family survived the sinking. The 25 horsepower Renault however, went down with the ship and has never been recovered.

@ 1:10 in this clip you will notice the chef has also climbed to the top of the stern..and he takes a swig of whiskey ..he is seen taking a swig multiple times randomly throughout the day of the sinking ...
This is based off true events...
He actually survived in real life .. He was the Chief Baker of the ship and he attributed his survival to large amounts of whiskey before the ship went down ...
Another subtle truth the movie shows that can be overlooked or noticed depending on if you know some of the history of the event..

True words that were quoted being said by some first class gentleman who were asked to come Board life boats.. but they refused ..they didn’t want to board life boats with women and children still on board..
Being first class men they were exempt to the women and children first rule..

Molly Brown.. first class passenger .. known for being opinionated..she was a survivor of the Titanic and was threatened to be removed from the lifeboat after demanding they went back to save others ...
“There’s plenty of room for more” she was quoted saying
And factually she was correct..the life boats were under occupied because of a cancelled emergency drill that was to actually make it aware that life boat capacity is higher than thought previously..

Two major attributing factors are highlighted here...
The California’s ice warning being taken lightly..and watchmen being hindered by not having long distance sight.. for lack of proper equipment ...

2020-01-21 at 4:42 AM UTCYou will also notice after it scraped the iceberg ...ice fell onto the deck...and people were documented to be playing with it.. no one took it seriously until they found out 5 compartments were full but only 4 could be filled and the Titanic stay afloat ..

Because all of this is information I learned before adulthood
I’ve actually been doing more research..and through this research I’ve gathered facts of an even higher altitude..
And learned the movie was actually a lot more accurate than I knew when I watched it yrs ago..even the smallest details in the movie that may be overlooked.. are things that are actually documented..I’m actually extremely excited to share these findings..
These findings are what I will delve into later:)

Ida and Isidor Straus .. The husband was the co-owner of Macy’s ..
He and his wife died together because she refused to get on a life boat without him..this is also highlighted as well
It really makes watching the movie have a completely different experience when you find these facts out ... I could honestly go on forever ..there’s so much more..
