How has Prozac been treating you, MQ? Any developments, changes in its effects? -

Minor overall improvements. My dosage was upped to 40mg a day about 2 weeks ago, so I'm still relatively in the early stages. Last time I went through this process it was close to a month before I started noticing a significant change in my mood, energy, thought process, etc. Started a new job last Monday and haven't had any problem getting up at 7am at least 5 times so far, a schedule that I'm not used to whatsoever and was worried might cause me to miss work due to being over-tired, but that's not been the case. I've actually been able to sleep at night and go to bed around midnight or a bit earlier compared to my schedule of the last few years which is staying up until 3,4,5 AM or later.
Haven't drank in 11 days now. Changed up my diet to more fruits and vegetables and less processed foods, which I'm sure is also contributing to my slight improvement, though at a very mild level as again, it's only been a short period of time since I've made the switch. Craving to smoke has been way down, from roughly 15 cigs a day to essentially 1-2 a day, none in the last 3 days, so I'm just sort of rolling with that.

True, perhaps, but you've been bit salty the last few days. What's the matter bud? We're all friends here. -
2017-02-02 at 7:13 AM UTCLanny do you have a standing work station or an adjustable one or do you always sit?
-
2017-02-02 at 7:17 AM UTCalways sit. My desk at work is adjustable (like with an allen wrench and two people, not one you can switch back and forth every day) and I tried standing for like a month, I didn't get any appreciable benefit from it, I didn't feel better after standing for ages, just a bit more tired. I guess there's supposed to be long term benefits for your health but honestly anything that's going to take longer to kill me than cirrhosis is kind of a freebie.
-
2017-02-02 at 7:23 AM UTCGot it. I just saw a commercial for a station that can rise up in a matter of a few seconds and for some reason I thought of you. I guess it probably depends on a bunch of things. I used to work on my feet all day/night and then come home and TC all night also standing up. I think when your body gets used to standing so much it makes it easier to continue that way.
I don't really stand much anymore when I'm on my laptop but I definitely notice the weird little kinks in my back and neck from sitting in front of it for extended periods of time, so I was just curious if you experienced those too and what you do to alleviate them. -
