I haven't tried typical anti-depressants, but I'd argue in favour of amphetamines.

The typical anti-depressants seem to make people content with the life situation they live in.
Amphetamines give people motivation to change the life situation they live in.

Yes and then what? They have the comedowns like everything else.

Not really when used in prescribed amounts. People forget that there's more Americans who use amphetamines by prescription than there are people on the street smoking meth. You don't even think twice that they're on amphetamines. The comedown is mild because the dosage is mild. I used dexedrine for years. Then about three years ago I quit that and alcohol at the same time. Three months later I took up drinking again but quit the dexedrine.

Quitting dexedrine after doing it for years is a walk in the park. Just a little sleepy. Amphetamines are not considered hard, or addictive drug. Just very very habit forming.

You really think the FDA would've approved amphetamines if they were so damn dangerous? The military has used amphetamines for 80 years and still does.

The main dangers of amphetamine are overusage and impurities.
Again millions of Americans use amphetamines without negative side effects.
It's a controlled substance because a small percentage of people cannot control their consumption.
Does amphetamines have dangers? Yes. Do amphetamines have benefits? Yes.

I had to quit amps for now because it was causing unbearable stress and mood swings (Vyvanse).
