While your dad was jamming out to vapid butt rock, bands like Throbbing Gristle and Kraftwerk were breaking new grounds and exploring what music truly could be outside the paradigm of radio friendly music (rush, pink floyd etc).
In the 80s while normie idiots like yourself were wanking off to synthpop and new wave there were movements in Europe and Asia that birthed musicans like Merzbow, Contagious Orgasm and Hijokaidan.
In the 90s while people like you were laughing at NIN and feeling like you were somehow too good for the music there were bands like Navicon Torture Technologies creating sounds that people would later discover in the 2010s thinking they landed on something new and revolutionary.
