There is so much to music that you will never know if you limit your understanding of it to the popular mindset of "talent" and "skill". Music is about expressing yourself and exploring sound, not chasing about outdated concepts such as music theory and talent.
What kind of music do I like? (without looking at what I’ve posted in the past). Also, what is my understanding of music?. If you’re gonna judge me on it, at least know what you’re judging.
You listen to by the books music. Stuff that relies on "music theory" rather than expressionism. Doesn't matter if it's rock, jazz, pop or electronic you're still clinging to a dated notion of what music is and can be.

The links in this thread arent to try and turn you on to these genres but rather show you examples of musicians who have stepped outside of the pop paradigm.
It's quite sad that I have to even have this argument on a totse clone, people on a site like this should have come to this conclusion in their early teens.
Talent and skill serve no purpose, they are limitations that gimp the music you can make and limit your appreciation of the art form.

I have already answered you two times, which were directed towards your comment about judging a band based on their live performance.
I already answered question 2 You have to first post some examples of the bands you listen to before I can explain to you why you have such awful taste
