    Triumph is another great progressive rock band as Rush and Yes is.
    
    I would say Styx is kind of Progressive rock but a bit early proto-synth pop.

    They're classified as simply "American Rock Band" (Just looked it up )
    
    Maybe we should stop categorizing but I always try and break it down to who fits wear as an easier way to keep with the vibe of bands with similar sounds before changing it up a bit.

    Then Big Hair
    Thrasher Rock! heads rotating
