Time and time, and time again Time after time, after time 'round and 'round and 'round again Time never waits, time never ends All of your life, all the time goes on by By and by and by
Hangin' out on the corner, he's got no place to go She sits in an empty bedroom, playin' the radio Every day regretting all the things never tried Every day they're dyin' just a little bit more inside
All the lonely people Waitin' all their lives They're empty and they're achin' You can see it in their eyes
Time is slippin' away, it's just passin' them by And they're wonderin' why But it's gone Gone forever, my friend And it won't come again So don't try to pretend you feel fine
Killin' time Killin' time
You feel it's now or never But the words don't seem to come The fabric of your dreams starts to come undone You realize it's over, before it has begun You're reaching for somethin' special But that somethin' never comes
You're on your own now But you're livin' out a lie This killin' time is wasting you I can see it in your eyes
Time is slippin' away, it's just passin' them by And they're wonderin' why But it's gone Gone forever, my friend And it won't come again So don't try to pretend you feel fine
Killin' time Killin' time
The time we waste on hate Full of anger and jealousy The times we act so cruel All the times you turned on me
All those lonely yesterdays When we were killin' time I needed you more than ever Couldn't you see it in my eyes?
Time is slippin' away Passin' us by Now I could cry, 'cause it's gone Gone forever, my friend And it won't come again It's moved on and left us behind

Noooooo. Journey is old pop rock.
Pop as in Popular in the 70s but not Pop Muzic like Post Punk-Industrial whatever?. (Which I love as well)
They're classified as simply "American Rock Band" (Just looked it up )
Maybe we should stop categorizing but I always try and break it down to who fits wear as an easier way to keep with the vibe of bands with similar sounds before changing it up a bit.
to me they're kind of Proto-Big hair-band (with Steve Perry)
Big Hair was originally Glam Rock Then Big Hair Thrasher Rock! heads rotating Death Core or whatever
nothing fits.. because Industrial big hair is related to Post Punk Gothic.. same dark wave but different origins
