    Yes really. Of course RT is biased just like any source, but they have a better track record than the MSM. Not only that being state media they realize everyone will look at everything they say more critically so they have an interest in reporting truthfully.
    
    I don't trust RT when they are talking about Russia but about middle eastern affairs they're solid, in general.
    
    
    Also, you need to follow a lot of different sources if you want to get to the actual full truth of what happened. Everyone is biased to a greater or lesser degree, show some discernment when you're getting your geo-political news.

    lately they've covered a range of topics that the rest of the media that others have refused to touch on, such as the OPCW leaks relating to the Douma 'chemical weapons' attack, Facebook partnering with the Atlantic Council and such.
    
    If anything the corporate media has been far more active in lying, either by omission or outright, to support state policies.
    
    If nothing else they're a much-needed counterbalance

    On a related note, i was just reading about the "600 americans killed by Suleimani" lies at antiwar.com. And They were talking about copper-core EFP bombs, which is a jargony way of saying improvised shaped charges. The Pentagon claims only Iran has the expertise to make these bombs, and materials for them 'are traced to Iran'. Which is a bold faced lie. I can go to the hardware shop and buy the items needed to make these types of bombs no problem.
    
    In fact these same materials are available on the Iraqi commercial market. I'm not saying Hezbullah isn't very good at making these types of devices, but there has been evidence that different groups in Iraq have adopted this style of IED.
