   I’ve been lucky enough to be able to leave the dogs food out all day. None of my dogs have ever overeaten. If they did, I’d pull it up. I feel bad for obese dogs, their poor little legs withstanding the weight.

    My dog's breed is known for overeating so we just feed him once a day. He's in good shape except he does love eating his own anus. With old age we have to get his anal glands expressed more often i guess. He's been getting infections :(

    I mean we take him to the vet and they haven't found anything like that. It's just his anal glands not being expressed so he tries to do it himself, gets a small cut from teeth, obviously gets infected because its right by his asshole.
    
    He's still dealing with the tail end of an infection (pUn inTenDed) and has been on antibiotics and ASS CREAM for the last month. We're gonna have to take him monthly from now on so the vet can take him in the back and stick a finger up his butt and leak out that sweet, sweet ass juice.
    
    I don't know how wolves or other canines do it in the wild. Maybe they just die of ass infection instead.
