See your dad was probably borderline homosexual. A real father doesn't ever "treat" his son (only daughters)...You're supposed to fear and respect your dad. A real dad also never hugs, kisses or tells his son "I love you son". The ONLY "feel good" emotion a father can say/show to his son is "I'm proud of you" after you've done something really outstanding like saving a whole platoon singlehandedly...but even then he'll follow it up with some constructive criticism of how you could have done it even more efficiently.
