   PBS is a nonprofit organization focused on education. You know the thing they say? "This program was made possible thanks to the corporation for public broadcasting, and viewers like you. Thank you"
   
   The CPB is basically just a grant program for public broadcasting and a lot of stations get funding from it. Most of what it funds are local radio channels.
   
   It should be noted that Trump also wanted to cut all CPB funding last year. Probably largely due to it funding NPR. What he wants is a state media he himself can control, and not just influence.
   
   There's a measure of objectivity that all CPB channels have to adhere to ;) Reality has a liberal bias.
