    I don't really see how state-owned media is worse than privately-owned media nowadays


    commissioning his own state news company was how Putin was able to fight the oligarchs on their own terms (they owned most of the popular channels after they were sold off in the Yeltsin years) so I assume Trump's trying to take a page out of that book, but he does not have the internal or external support, nor the IQ that Putin did

    NPR is supposed to be state run media, the problem is such things always wind up being swamped by people with subversive agendas.

    There is a law that states that any organisation that isn't explicitly right wing inevitably becomes left wing, and that seems to hold in all cases.
