   For thousands of centuries, the founders completely dominated the beta quadrant, even wiping out the technologically thousands of years before we even figured out how to build a plane, the iconian gates to other worlds were destroyed, and the dominion continued to rule space, as we know it. The dominion, was, and is, atleast stated by the founders, them.
   
   Solids, aka almost every species, had instinctual senses to mistrust and be ready to survive. The unknown must be feared and studied, until they are hunted down as prey.
   
   When the mob of angry solids were chasing after the founders, a primate, vorta, gave the shapeshifters shelter. The founders realized that some solids are not to be feared and hated. They promised the primative vorta, that one day, they would rule the galaxy.
   
   The founders kept their word, using genetic sequencing to advance the vorta species to a sentient, intelligent, and telepathic (in some vorta) species.
   
   Next clusterfuck of literature I'll get into the species programmed to be addicted to ketrazel white, aka space heroin.
