All major so-called "charities" are nothing but scam artists, who siphon off almost every penny of the donations to themselves. Doesn't matter what kind of cute little numbers they like to post on their webpage either; they are all, without exception, flat out crooks and thieves. Especially Red Cross, who are the worst and most despicable thieves of all time, profiteering and enriching themselves off the misery and suffering of others. They're all literally demonized and going to hell. They're not the only ones either. It could be a band "playing for charity", so you figure you should contribute to the band to help out. 99.999% of bands "playing for charity" keep all the donations for themselves, or the intended recipients only receive an absolutely minuscule fraction of the money, no matter what they insist to the contrary. Same thing with these Facebook and Patreon and GoFundMe sob story scams. It's not like thieves are going to come right out and say, "Hey, we lie when we insist all proceeds go to charity." Of course not. The ONLY thing a thief can say is it's all legit and on the up and up and how dare you question their good intentions. If you want to really help someone, find that someone, make contact, then give. Don't give your money away to the plethora of scum-sucking, parasitical, bottom-feeding mouthbreathers, who are getting more and more plentiful by the hour.

The wild fires are caused mostly by old electrical equipment. the post holding up many of them may have rotted out from heavy rains over the years followed up by some unprecedented winds these past few years.
So if PG&E turns them off.. a man dies from his oxygen making machine from shutting off (which happens) and people bitch about losing their food after 2-5 days of no power
If they leave it on, then the winds blow them over and fires start.

this might be part natural cycle or it is global warming or both. and the fact that in between the time periods it was calm and less hot, shitloads of people flooded into country area's making them more densely populated and bringing up the risk of more power lines or people BBQs starting fires.. and on private country roads making it a bitch to get out or for Firetrucks and Emergency crews to get in.. on top of overgrowth.
Again.. this is a global problem of global population going up. How is it California's fault? -

They were shoveling in hundreds of billions in profits, while willfully and deliberately letting their lines and systems go to shit. Maintenance didn't even enter into their minds. Just use it until they were forced to upgrade and maintain it, and nobody ever did, so they just let it all turn to shit. Now, they act all shocked and want to help. If it were my world, I'd locate every single one of them and they'd hang, and I'd televise it, too, and have the hangings right out in the public street, as a nod to all the other profiteering scum out there. -

No, the envirofaggots in Cali wouldn't let anyone do controlled burns to get rid of the dead underbrush (fuel) because earth was in pain. Then a power line fell and started a fire that burned the shit anyway, earth is now double pissed off. Earth is now planning an earthquake to dump Kali into her ocean (stomach). -
