I should be able to order beer and pizza, turn on the shower, flush the toilet and set the mood and atmosphere all on one singular device and no I'm not talking about some grotesque 21st century jewgarbage like a "smart"phone. -

You can't do all that stuff because you want it provided to you on a plate.
There are already pizza apis, there are home automation solutions, and internet connected lighting and sockets and arduinos are a thing. -
