The ancient ancestors of all modern animals - including humans - may have been bisexual and engaged in homosexual acts, rather than purely heterosexual as previously thought, a new study has revealed.

Homosexuality in animals is widespread and new research from Yale University suggests it may have been part of animal behaviour from the beginning.

The sexual activity of more than 1,500 different animal species - including crabs, snakes, monkeys and cows - has been studied by scientists as part of efforts to find out why homosexuality persists 'despite not having an obvious evolutionary benefit'.

Researchers believe that rather than evolving after heterosexuality as previously thought, homosexual behaviour was part of our earliest DNA.

'If any trait other than homosexuality had been observed in such a diverse array of species it would be widely accepted as being part of our ancestral DNA rather than something that evolved later,' says Julia Monk, the first author on the paper.

Almost as if a certain secret masonic fraternity group that regularly engages in and promotes homosexual behavior has an agenda with this study

I don't see why this is so hard to believe. Homosexuality isn't detrimental to the survival of your genes unless an organism is engaging in it exclusively. Nothing wrong with it as long as you're still willing/able to make babies.

the psychological mechanism for bumsexuality in animals and humans is completely different

even the scientist who originally pushed the theory had to admit that homosex in the animal kingdom was too different from modern faggotry to be used in any kind of human model

hahaha i don't buy that one bit, charles radcliff, zoologist, most famous for rattlesnake behavior at the san diego zoo...also restorer of the tibetan mastiff claims it's impossible for animals to be homosexual.

    he uses the mastiff.

it has barbs on the males penis that only will swell and stick when inserted into the female vagina. because of these barbs, no males even tries to attempt to hump other male mastiffs (so if they were queer they would try...but that evolution link is non existence). and we must remember, the tibetan mastiff is the very first bred animal from the wolf. and then 40,000 years later, the wolf was bred again and now we have the domesticated dogs. so the mastiff is not domesticated at all. so their evolution is 40,000 years more developed than your poodle, great dane, doberman, rottie, whatever mutt you have. and if their 50,000 year evolution never produced tibetan mastiff queers, it's obvious the other Species of animals were never queer to begin with,

but when you have a cock sucker for a scientist, he will make the sun queer to be accepted.

and why the term mental disturbance is applied to queers because calling them insane is a bit too mean :)

Sniffing each other's asses does not count as gay.

and mounting is a sign of domination, not the "i wanna pound your fudge big fella!!"

and dogs will sniff the penis because it indicates the levels of testerone. and weaker dogs know to cower from this.

but a queer watching would salivate and claim that puppy is like him!!

I thought homosexuality would only be something that would be exhibited in group, social animals, especially the few species who have sex outside of estrus.

So now there are gay crabs?

    Rainbow coloured unicorn shit.

    science is full of shit.

i was amazed by this fact, but literally 88% of all proposed theories have been retracted and dismissed.

but until a theory becomes as such, we have every moron offering a new theory...

that's the entire point of the scientific method lol

you propose a theory based on data and it's eventually disproven if it fails to fully describe its focus properly

science is a method, not a set of truths in and of itself

    definitely

    just look at natural selection:

when a female animal goes into heat, a male will kill all puppies, every male rival just to impregnate all females to pass his genetics on.

human males get along at just about every junction except being done wrong. but we do not see other males as a threat to kill us to impregnate our women like the animals does.

we truly are not connected to the animals kingdom because like my 50,000 year old tibetan mastiffs, they can never be domesticated.

but humans are, except for the mentally disturbed!!

so it's obvious humans and natural selection are not even remotely connected like it is within the literal animal kingdoms!!

true, but each proposal gets a multimillion dollar grant.

when does it hit the crossroads when is this a real possible theory or you just are greedy and know how to bilk the system?

It's not about passing genes on.

The levels of testosterone in the body spike with sexual desire or arousal. This can be caused by scent, wake/sleep cycles (eg seasons) or psychological behaviour, such as a submissive animal triggering instinct to be dominant in another.

    Higher testosterone causes higher aggression.

He is not ensuring the survival of his genes. He is violent.

Also sexual behaviour is influenced by hormones.

It's not purely genetic. Hormones can be affected by diet and lifestyle or even climate.

Very simply, look at iodine. It is required for the development of the CNS. Low iodine is a problem for the fetus. This has nothing to do with genetics. That fetus is fucked up because it lacked sufficient iodine at the appropriate time.

    Gay men are generally fetishists.

They get turned on by wearing lipstick. This is not natural.

    It's conditioned.

Like how when you train a dog to expect dinner at the sound of a bell. These behaviours condition pathways in the brain related to hunger, in the case of the dog, or sexual response in the case of the gay.

You should be attracted to your own species.

Submissive/dominant behaviour is determined by hormones and other social factors. For example, you could have a guy who is naturally large and muscular with high testosterone and good looking. Some unnatural behaviour could lead to him becoming apprehensive via conditioning from some little shit stick who is socially aggressive and egrarious. The reason nature doesnt take over and shit stick and he gets dominated is cause people don't wanna get arrested for punching some dude in the face, or fired for bitching out their coworker who is a faggot.

most animal homosexuality is the result of confused instincts; it's been observed in birds for example that if no females are present a male may take on the 'female' role of nesting, and another male may then bang it like a little bitch because the perceived female role contributes more to recognition than the male form.

one that's often cited is bonerbros, apes that are closely related to humans and are well known for being massive faggots. they're often seen rubbing dicks together but this isn't typically 'sexual' in our context - it's become a learned behaviour that inducing sexual arousal stops aggression, so for example if a smaller boner gets into a fight that he knows he's going to lose, he'll likely start jerking his competitor off in order to calm him down.

Female goats will mount each other if one does the "present the rear" it kicks their instinct to activate.

And when the male goat sees this and gets aggressive, she does the "present the rear" and stops being the man.

It's your brain. It's influenced by hormones.

Seeing certain things can affect your hormones.

Over a zillion years, the pathways in the brain have become strongly reinforced when seeing the "present the rear". These reinforced pathways are passed down via mendellian inheritence, and thusly, the brain likes "present the rear". The rest of it is hormones and social conditioning. Eg if you are regularly unchallenged in life, anxious traits and submissive traits are not likely to develop in your personality.

Look at PTSD. Complete personality change brought about by continual activation of certain brain pathways associated with fight/flight.
