    If the charge(s) are that bad, you might be better off creating a stand off to buy time to destroy evidence.

    Yes, it would still trigger the stickers. Source: I have had to repair once after a kid somehow dropped his into his bowl of cereal, cracking the display, and getting the milk inside.

    That said, I also just recently completed a Surface Pro 4 recall program for a customer where the screen displays "ghosting" even after I had already replaced the screen myself. While I do like to believe I do pretty good work, Microsoft themselves wasn't able to tell or at least didn't care that the screen had been replaced by someone outside of them. They issued a full replacement under their extended warranty program. Good for me, good for my customer.

    So you might take that tidbid as some information as to what you might be able (or may not) to get away with...
