The top Republicans asked even before they went in if it was a classified setting. They were informed directly by the Democrats that it wasn't. That means the room was not being used as a SCIF, because that would be a classified setting.

BTW a "portable SCIF" is an emission shielded tent. This was not a "portable SCIF". It was a permanent SCIF room.
