also only the bottom 2 belts on Russians pic aren't terrible
One I bought in Senegal, I don't remember for how much. I bought two of them, but gave one to a buddy. I don't really wear it all that often.
The other I got from this nigga named Pete, and the buckle is from this other place. Check it out if you're into this sort of thing, they're both good people and good business.

I don't know whats going on man, every time I buy a leather product, it fucking wrinkles up!
Share your homosexual wisdom, I don't know anything about anything.

This is not a gun thread, so I will spare any discussion on tokarevs (which is not at all what is in the picture, but I do own two of them).
Some clothing products are for looks, some are for function.
Do I really care what a belt LOOKS like, if I am using it simply for its physical properties? If I use a belt to carry a large all steel pistol + spare mags, cargo pants with all the usual shit + a multi tool and a flashlight, and more spare mags? Why would I care about how it looks if nobody sees it, as it is worn without a tucked in shirt? Tucking in a shirt over a concealed handgun is doable, but what about if you carry spare mags on your belt?
The reinforced nylon belts pictured are the most comfortable that I have had so far. Anyone who carries any weight on their belt would know; a stiff, quality belt is ideal in making extra weight be unnoticed.
When I just started carrying, I used my typical shitty belt. The kind that faggot resident spic uses (which he wont post because hes a pussy). But such belts are garbage at carrying anything, and they bow easily. The belts pictured dont bow, and are study enough to the point where you can carry a lot of weight on your belt without even feeling it. Its great. -

You need to oil and stretch it. Those wrinkles happen because of dryness/stiffness.
Its indicative of quality because good soft leather takes more time to tan/stretch/massage and also better tanning material. Honestly hard to find good shoes/belts that are both firm enough for their purpose but will last a long time without treatment.
I mean I'm not a leather expert or anything but my parents taught me how to take care of nice things. -

I forgot the term used but if you dont use a shoe-tree or stuff them with tissue, they curl up and crack, looks like a fucking hobbit shoe. -

Okay jokes aside. Your inital comment was about the two bottom belts; one of which is alligаtor from the u.s., the other is from some sort of african crockodilе (it was bought from nigerians in senegal, so who really knows what it actually is?). Both belts have been worn extensively, both are disposable. I do not see (or care enough to see?) any wrinkles on the belts in the pic.
Ant any rate, everyone knows that reptile leather is very thin and prone to drying up bad. This is hard to avoid depending on many factors.
This is a belt thread, not a thread about how to care for exotic leathers.
Post your fucking belts. -

Not really hard to avoid unless you just treat your stuff like shit. A man only needs one good belt in his life. -

How many miles can you walk in Spanish hand made exotic leather shoes before they start showing wear? Who cares?
I own nice stuff but honestly, nice stuff is usually not rugged or comfortable. I would not wear any of the shoes in the pic for a hike or even a very long walk. -

If you take care of it, it'll never crack no matter how long you wear it. The rubber will deteriorate first.
I've had the same leather boots since I was like 17. No sign of wear and tear. I've climbed mountains in them and they've set foot in three different countries. Used to wear them to work daily. I prefer $100 bang up shoes now. Leather isn't very comfortable imo. Not a lot of breathing room. -

Not really. If you take care of nice leather shoes it'll last you years. Sure maybe it'll cost like $300 for a pair but imagine how much you'll save wearing them for decades. Buying shitty low quality shoes is a good way to throw away money. Won't last you more than a year or two.
For a belt and other clothes it doesn't really matter much, and I'd agree. But it's important to buy quality shoes.
