Hopefully if he wins someone will convince him $15/hr minimum wage is retarded. If you want to raise wages, the government has to start creating jobs for higher wages. His plan to rebuild our infrastructure to create jobs is great. That's the way. Public works are the way. Create a shitload of jobs at $15 an hour with training and the other wages will just rise, it will simply happen.
Do you want to work your shitty $8/hr job with asshole boss when you can literally walk out, grab a shovel and start earning $15 for serving your country? Well it's hard goddamn work but probably not. Now you can either compete or sayonara to your employees. It will induce redistribution from the profits of companies without forcing it. And companies hiring skilled people won't even be affected unless they are underpaying them.
We can't pick based on what leaders we think have realistic policies.
You ever bargain? You start high, the other person starts low. You meet in the middle, and make progress. That's how we got the ACA and now millions of Americans like myself are finally able to get healthcare. It's an immensely popular plan and now even Republicans only want to repeal parts of it. Thus, progress is made. Maybe we can't get it up to 15/h min wage but 10 i think is doable. Maybe 11 or 12. That'd put us right about where other first world nations are. -

Our European allies threatening sanctions is not a 'good trade deal.' These are some of the worst decisions in a long time, basically moving America back to the isolationism of the early 1900s but with none of the manufacturing power to back it up.
