I was worried he was going to start letting the cats inside, which I would not allow due to how filthy cats are, but instead he started spending a lot of time with my favourite pomeranian and basically took him from me, so the dog would do what he said instead of what I said.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

Cats are host to multiple different scary and weird parasites like toxoplasmosis gondii as you well know, and roam over a wide area, and so pick up all sorts of diseases including the feline flu and feline AIDS. They also carry tapeworms, fleas, a zillion over diseases and bugs. They're just a diseasy animal in general.
And if you die in the presence of a cat they will literally eat your face for sustenance.
Cats can be awesome, though most aren't. But either way, keep them away from me. -
