I'm not mad that he's a good father, I've told him a couple times I hope it all works out for him. More power to him if he is a good dad
It just gets old when I make a serious thread and people go in there just with those sole purpose of talking shit, then when I'm doing it it always goes back to how I'm "salty" and "won't ever be a good dad"
I'm far from the only person here that post "salty" or has personal problems.
But hey I guess some people need a scapegoat...
like why make a thread to say how your dads like the Marlboro man and then just put a picture of a bunch 2 by 4's and then expect a serious reply to your thread? at least post a picture of your dad smoking the cigs while working that would of been cooler, this thread fails to deliver
like i just made a thread about dreams and he post "fuck ur dreams" just cause he knows people will thank his post and go a long with it, thats not salty, maybe its not but its probably just being an asshole

well at least, daniel is proud of his dad. My dad is a carpenter also, but through most of his life he was an engineer at amd. carpentry was on the side, but those things tend to go hand and hand. my dad always told me that the people that smoked cigs were the low class people of the engineering business. But to each their own.
I think no matter what when you reach that age around 60 you look like the Marlboro man no matter what.

Should have added these earlier. The ceiling is 18' 3". Each run was 5.5 boards. Each board is 12' 4' of 5/8ths thick drywall weighing in at a hefty 105lbs.

I think my dad would have made a helluva Mason (the religion) in another life.
lol yeah, not that this is were my grandfather is buried, but the last place I used to live like 5 years ago, they actually had a masonic cemetary right there, and my gf and I at the time went and explored it while high and it was pretty cool, my dad showed me some masonic memorabilia like pins and stuff from the 60's evidently it was more cool of a thing to be a mason back then.
evidently outside of austin they have a masonic cemetery thats only for black ppl masons , didnt know about that until recently.
I've kinda researched it a bit, but still don't exactly know what its all about, I asked my dad several years ago and he was just like "ahh its just a thing they did, its about symbolism..." it definitely does have a tie into Christianity though
